No I'm saying the pool is so big that they have more top level kids as a result and they have teams full of future NFL players.

I know the law of averages.

Man if our pep rallies were like that back in the day, they may have actually been fun and inspiring. They were usually just a good reason to get dismissed earlier on a Friday.

I kind of wish. I was a jock until grad school.

I bet the nerds knees don’t hurt every fricking morning.

Theyre a public school state so it’s all spread out… there’s no John Curtises there

You don't think there is a ceremony for the students who earned academic scholarships?

Please list them with proof of you personally visiting them There are a lot of Texas HS building new stadiums, but how Allen is laid out is still the gold standard 10 years later.

I take it you’ve never been to Prosper or Mckinney's stadium…

Not throwing shade on Allen, just newer built stadiums have advanced with “bigger/better” attitude since it was built. Allen is definitely the OG in the area.

Katy passed a billion dollar bond for our new stadium ($70M of it), and it passed because the Asians saw there was a robotics center attached to the bond, and they all voted for it. The stadium by itself failed to pass the year before, but someone got smart on how to hook the Asians.

At 48m it's impressive. But it doesn't look as nice.

Well it didn’t incur a lawsuit for falling apart like the Allen stadium did…

McKinney stadium is nicer than prosper, and I’m sure they will soon build one nicer than it

They will always be bigger and better. Just like in the NFL.

But the Allen one looks nicer.

I can't imagine going to a school like that.

Our pep rallies where in the auditorium, our "sound system" was someone's boom box with a microphone (attached to the auditorium speakers) held in front of the speakers and playing something like "We Are the Champions," "Welcome to the Jungle," etc as the team slow-walked in.

Heck, just the concrete alone around all of those stadiums probably cost more than any here in SWLA.
