I'd like to check out NOLA in the mid-1950s

Put me down for the late 70s, early 80s.

I would damn sure go back to sometime between late 70s and mid 90s in a heartbeat.

Late 70s, early 80s. Pre-AIDs, mid-coke era

I wish I was born in 1970.

If I could take my family with me (wife and 2 boys), then I’d trade it in a heartbeat to go back to the 1950s

Absolutely.
I feel I have more in common with my parents and grandparents than I do with the culture my generation has helped facilitate. I really don’t like my age group for the most part.
Anything pre-cell phone, internet, and personal computer would be an era in which I would like to think that I’d enjoy.

Absofrickinglutely. I'd like to live my life in the 70s and 80s on a loop.

The 90s was a solid decade. I'm biased because those were my HS and college years though.

high school in the 70s was a great time. could buy beer at any store, weed was easy to find and bush...lots and lots of bush.

This. Send me back to whenever a/c was found in most homes and public buildings.

I was born in 70 and wish that I'd been born around 1960...mostly to have been old enough to have seen the moon landing. But being a teen in the mid 70s would also have to be a blast.

I think that being this weird sort of neo-Amish, where you stopped using any sort of technology made after the 90s would be pretty great.
No social media but you’d still have tech.

I think maybe 1967 or so would have been ideal for me. 70s childhood, 80s HS and college. 90s entering the workforce and young adulthood.
I had an 80s childhood and 90s teens and early 20s though. Still a solid timeframe.

I was born in 81. My early years were right when arcades and Nintendo were really taking off. I feel like it would’ve been perfect to be a kid about 5-7 years older than me at that time. Still tons of freedom to cruise around on your bike (I had this to a large extent but probably not as much), incredible movies being made for kids, and the advent of video games.
