I just settled this debate with myself. Ended up going with yes. Wasn’t worth it to get up for the next 30 years and do something I don’t want to do. Sure the money would be great but we could all die at any moment and life is too short to not do what you want.

I did this exactly about 6 years ago to become a firefighter. Best decision I've ever made.
