I pretty much have. Not 50%, but the off time is worth it.

Good question to which I don't have an answer at the ready.

At my core, I'm technically driven in science and math. I also really take pride in my creativity, imagination and ability to convey thoughts and ideas.

I guess I would try to find a purpose that could hit on all of those skills.

If you think of some ideas, I hope you can let me know.

Thanks.

My dream job would be to not work so it would be a 100% pay cut

Most dream jobs only have the purpose of self-fulfillment or entertainment (fisherman, celebrity, etc.)

That is a laundry list of complex wants. I'll think on it.

No. It wouldn’t be a dream job if it cut my salary

Why would I take a pay cut to keep doing what I'm already doing?

Now, quit starting shite threads and drop those fries.

I’ve had two opportunities to do this and the pay cut wasn’t even as extreme. Wife was all like, “ah hell na.”

Hell no

Being poor sucks

Anyone saying “oh I would totally do this, money doesn’t matter, blah, blah, blah” has never been poor.

Find a job you love and you'll never work a day in your life.

Dream job is the one that makes you the most money. What you are describing is a hobby.

unless half salary is still better than most

I've I'm an executive making 750k, I think I could be ok at 375k without all the bullshite that comes with the 750k.....this why we are calling it a dream job

It does suck but to be honest the best times of my life was when I was poor. Money buys comfort, it doesn’t buy happiness. I’d take fulfillment over a nice car any day.
