Would be 10.62/hr here.
Maybe If it was weekends only...16 hours=169.92 before taxes. 679.82 a month before taxes.

Would it only be a 40 hour work week? If so, yes. To pocket $300K to flip burgers or ask “you want to supersize that meal” for 40 hours a week

If most career people were paid 25% over their current salary to work what’s typically a minimum wage spot, the restaurant would operate with a big financial handicap and probably fold.
So no, I wouldn’t take a job that would be gone soon.

Fast Food is an easy job. Even easier with a 25% raise.

Yeah, absolutely, and there's no stress because the bar is set so incredibly low. Literally showing up is 90% of the requirement

I mean, I’d be around the same level as an executive, so my day-to-day would be about the same...so, sure, I’d do it.

25% over current income to flip burgers and never deal with the rigor of managing a schedule....
yea. I’m in. In a heartbeat

My dad worked fast food his entire career. He was not college educated, worked his way up when it was still possible. We are not a trashy family by any means. The work was very exhausting and for some years his schedule was never set. He did make very good money my mom didn’t work and we didn’t want for anything. So yes it’s possibke to make north of 175 in fast food at certain levels
That being said when he retired a few years ago, he had been a regional manager for the last 15 years of his career running 20 plus stores. He would tell you though this is not a career path you would want to take this day and age. The demands are just overwhelming.

If someone is willing to pay me close to 200k a year to flip burgers, then sure, I'll take it.

I actually went to college and grad school in a learned profession so I would not have to work in fast food. Worked as I will retire comfortably next year.

Give me the least amount of responsibility possible
Posted on 5/5/18 at 10:46 pm to GreatLakesTiger24
Absolutely.
I’ll run the register or make fries.
If they want to pay me that much money to do that all day, I’m in.
And I don’t have to worry about emails/calls/texts from the boss about random work-related shite when I’m at home.
Where do I sign up?

Assuming the security would be similar, I'd even be the clean up bitch.

I have worked my whole life to get paid as much as I do now for doing the least amount of work I have ever done.
Why would I give that all up to work 40+ hours a week with crappy hours(no holidays or weekends ever), be required to move at an insane work volume, dealing with shitty co-workers and clients, wearing a shitty uniform that is covered in grease, while answering to a manager and a corporate hierarchy that is universally accepted as being among the worst in the private sector?

Hell no!! Would rather stay here working in Afghanistan where I get 35% over my salary for hazard pay, 35% over my salary for hardship differential, and don't pay taxes on the first 100 grand I make each year.
