Since I'm 36 years old I only imagine living to 80 so I'll take the 2 million a year. 44x2=88million

Give me the $50 million. I’m almost 50 and I want to enjoy it before I get too old. Life expectancy avg says I have only 25 years left

If you're not an investing idiot, take the $50 million up front and let time work for you. It would take you 25 (non-guaranteed years) to break even going the other route.

Take the money and run. You never know when it's your time to go so you might as well take it all and do what you can with it while you can.

Gotta work on your math skills.

50 million earning 3% interest produces 1.5 million a year.

That's super conservative and not counting compounding.

really???? This is a question????

if you invest the 50 you should easily yield 7%, but let's say it 5% guaranteed annually...

at 5% that's 2.5 Mil per year.

edited, changed my mind

50 million up front because if you can make a 5% return per year from mutual funds and bonds, you can make $2.5mil a year from that

No brainer, I'll take the 50 mil.
Can you imagine what you can do with that amount?

2mil a year would end up far over 50mil in 25 years

Imagine what 50 would be in 25 years
