I would eat ramen, sleep in a cardboard box and panhandle on Airline before I would sell any of my dogs.

I don't even like the question.

But no, and I'm pretty poor.

This question has so many variables.

If you have a great dog, makes it harder to say yes.
If you are poor, makes it easy to say yes.
If you make 10,000 a week, you would never sell a good dog.

No one is answering in a vacuum. But the truth is - you can always find another dog to do 95% of what you’re current one does. I have loved all of mine, but then I love the next one just as much.

The biggest variable is why is someone willing to pay me $10,000 for my dog? I can think of very few situations where someone pays that much for a random dog and has good intentions. You have to make their intentions good and the dog’s future living situation an upgrade before anyone even considers the question let alone says yes.

Well, if they're already offering $10,000, then surely they'd be willing to pay $12,500.

My bookie needs his by Monday.

I raised both of my dogs from the times they were young puppies. I couldn’t sell them. Also, they’re firmly attached to each other. They would have severe separation anxiety.

My dog Zeuss is smarter than Lassie and meaner than a Junk Yard Dog.
I'm gonna put him in the movies, he's gonna be a Big Star some day.
