Yep. The person that used to walk by my desk and see that I'm gone already now calls me at 6pm on a Friday for something that could wait.

Except for one coworker everyone else I work with is in Utah and California and I'm eastern time.

I get a lot of calls at 7 pm, its annoying but I've gotten used to it, and no one bugs me early in the morning which is nice.

Once the office model is changed. The 40 hour workweek is next.

100% office

I don’t know how people can work entirely from home. It’s driving me crazy.

That kind of logic could get you fired around here.

I never left either. I was working from home before working from home was cool.

I'd like to be able to do a combination of both. 2 or 3 days at the office, 2 or 3 days at home

8 weeks of working from home

Been doing it full time for over 8 years. It gets old. Not old enough that I'm ready to start commuting again, but it really does get old.

Those who live close enough to their offices that a commute isn't a big to-do and have coworkers they enjoy have it made being a nice 3/2 or 2/3 home/work balance would be ideal, imo.

For the folks who would like to continue working from home. What happens if your company realizes your completely remote position can be done with cheaper labor by outsourcing it to India. Obviously this won’t happen with every large company but it is something to consider.

I've been back in my office for the past 3 weeks....
Working from home had it's benefits, but it was getting real old having to work on a TV tray pulled up to a coach in my man cave. Me and my wife both work in mental health and have to abide by HIPPA so couldn't just take appointments at the kitchen table, and the home office is hers. It's kinda weird working in an empty office building, but it's whatever....I still go home for lunch and usually take off early.
