NGL if I could find a job that pays the same with same benefits I have with my job in Lincoln id move to Hastings.
Kearney is another underrated city in Nebraska.
Grand Island and North Platte are absolute shitholes though.

I’ve been to Hastings once to coach a xc meet. Seemed like a nice enough place

We live in Memphis. Germantown is very nice; incredibly safe and great schools.
Very good area to raise a family. Multiple Fortune 500s within a 20 min drive of each other.

I haven’t been to germantown in a while, but I used to live there. If germantown commissary is still there and what it used to be, that place can settle lots of decisions for me

Germantown has its own school district so it hasn't suffered the decline that Cordova has.

It’s really sad what has happened to Memphis
I lived there as a kid in the late 80s and it was a wonderful place. It was clean, safe, growing.. we had Libertyland and a cool water park called Adventure River
It was just a great family place to live
Democrat policies have ruined that city. I think since I lived there back then there has only been one building added to their skyline since then.
It has turned into a hopeless, depressing, dangerous shithole and it’s not going to get any better anytime soon until their local Government makes drastic changes

Random but very different. Germantown is a suburb of a major urban area and Hastings is in the middle of BFE.
Also, what are all the structures East of Hastings. Looks like old ammo dumps or bunkers? Maybe an old military base? Looks like Nat guard unit just outside of town on the West side of the structures.
