Texas is a MUCH better school than Tenn. I would go to Tenn over TX if free. Otherwise TX all day.

I actually almost went to TX back when they had more OOS merit scholarships, but I got a better deal at a smaller school.

Tennessee… better scenery, way less heat, four actual seasons, far less California liberals.

Moonshine is better than artsy fartsy craft beer.

Definitely Tennessee. Still wouldn't root for the Vols, though.

If I had to do it all over again and cost was never an issue I would’ve gone to the University of Texas at Austin and studied CS instead of EE. Then applied for Graduate School at UT Austin for an MBA.

While both oranges are hideous, I find Tennessee’s to be less horrible. So Tennessee.

I also prefer Knoxville in general.

Agreed, I majored in business and realized that the positions above lower management were all engineers with MBAs…I switched to sales lol.

Texas has much stronger academics but I'd rather live in Knoxville than Austin.

The Tennessee campus is beautiful. Lots of hills.

Based on geography, Tennessee. Based on value of degree, Texas.
