How much for an undocumented worker to paint a 13x17' bedroom + ceiling?

Anyone that knows a reliable, trustworthy guy, that would be helpful also.

Yes. They could do the ceiling, walls, and trim quicker than I could.

There’s a company in BR that will give you a painter for a day for $400. Their website said it would cover something like a single room with multiple coats. Not sure about trim

I hate painting and would pay someone in a heartbeat

I hate painting so I'd pay someone to paint something as simple as a door.

I have done this before.

I also paid the roofer extra for painting a small piece of soffit that was replaced.

Anyone who doesn't hate painting is either doing it wrong, or is already doing it professionally.

I don't agree. I actually like to paint, it is one of the most satisfying DIY projects in my mind. Most DIY stuff inside the house is fixing something that looks and functions the same as it did before. When you get the finished painting you can actually see what you have done.

What I do hate is moving all the crap out and back into a room.

I just paid two people $450.00 to paint two small rooms in my Mom's home. I provided the paint. They took all day, used two cans of paint, which I thought was excessive. They also cleaned everything up. They did way better than I would have. So it was a very good deal.

A 12x12 room with 8' ceilings is basically a full gallon of paint not painting the ceiling.

Even 2 tiny 8x8 rooms with 8' ceilings are going to be into the second gallon. Though you might be able to do them with a gallon and a quart.
