I don't think I'd pay a year's worth of rent for outright ownership.

depends on what the general cost of living and pay rates are in that area....

ETA: Ummmmm,no....I would not pay that to live in Chalmette.

now that our zoning board blocked him he wants to sue the parish

why would the zoning board block him?...if he is successful, he may turn Chalmette into an elite place to live.

Look at Arabi. Chalmette should try to figure out what is happening there and try to copy it.

well neither are incorporated towns or cities lol...

basically Old Arabi is being propped up by Angela Av. being a clone of the Marigny (and I guess so, the back fences of the houses are literally the brick walls of Jackson Barracks). Those people want New Orleans living with St. Bernard schools, services, etc.

the rest of it is African-Americans who at least have made it out of the city, so they have that going for them. i'm willing to bet that they voted MAGA better than the black national average

btw we were 64-31 for Trump

1/2 wide maybe. Single wide is 14' or 16' wide. That looks to be about an 8' wide.
