Oh and to the OP, I’d pay you to move anywhere as long as your vagina stops bleeding because you live in Louisiana
Sweet bro, thanks. Seriously man, I know we’ve had our disagreements but I really appreciate that. Just give the check to your mom or wife. They both know where I live.

No. Double my pay here isn’t shite for NH.

Yes, no income tax or sales tax there.

I haven't read this thread yet and i don't know how many comments there are but i'll bet a fair number include the word "libtard" or some other stale, stupid shite.
You don't know your politics very well. NH isn't Vermont

Twice as much pay for same job? Why?
Posted on 7/22/19 at 6:31 pm to Pandy Fackler
I’m a libtard.
Maybe we can be friends after all

Double your salary and you get to get out of Louisiana? I don't see why you're not on the first plane there.

North Dakota State runs the FCS.
So they have that going for them

As a native of the 'Shire I would absolutely move back for double my salary.
Whereabouts would you need to relocate? Seacoast? The Great White North? The Lakes Region? Manch-Vegas? Sunappee Region? If your wife is from NH she should know of the well-funded school districts and which ones to avoid.
Best of luck with your decision.

Yes, there are a ton of positives that people here have highlighted for good reason.
If you decide to do it, prepare yourself to be homesick at times. In all honesty, I would budget into the finances/family expectations one trip to a Louisiana each year to scratch that itch, and one family beach trip in February or March. I’m not talking 30A, you’re gonna want proper beaches with a ton of heat and sun. Think Caribbean, Central America.

Double? 50-100 or 100 -200?

New Hampshire is beautiful I here. And very little culcha. winters are harsh, sure, but remember, your ancestors probably came from Europe. Surviving harsh winters is in your DNA. You’ll adjust.
Take a long vacation back home around Christmas.
And you’ll get to see real snow
