I have taken the approach to a cashier asking me if I want something...I always say yes.

Do other stores ask this question? Every time I check out at Publix, they ask, "Would you like your milk in a bag?" I always wonder who says no. I mean, I know it has a handle already, but it seems easier to carry it along with the other bags if it's in a bag too.

How does it become easier? And with the bags getting thinner and thinner by the day, it just becomes more likely that a failure occurs and you drop the bottle.
What if the only item you are buying is a gallon of milk? Still need a bag?
