It'll be one of the safest places anywhere and it won't be crowded. Like when I took my kids to Disneyland after 911. No lines, almost had the park to ourselves.

Cry about it. When situations like this occur, it's possible to discuss matters of policy that relate to the issue. As long as people have asinine opinions that jeopardize safety, those opinions should be mocked and those that hold the opinions should be looked upon with contempt and disdain.

Had some friends who gave me shite about the countries I like to visit which they deem "unsafe."

All have been to Paris this year so the turns have tabled.

Go. We went in November 2001, 2 months after 9/11. I never felt unsafe.

I'd probably go. Went three weeks after 9/11. Flights had plenty of open seats, and tourist sites were less crowded. Security at the airport was heavy, but we did not notice any out on the streets.

This from someone who lives in Lady Mary, FL.

Expected.

You've never (properly) been to Paris with this attitude.
