No but I knew and expected there was a high probability of them having a scuff to buff out, but I didn’t want to ding another persons vehicle and If I would’ve thought that was a possibility in the slightest I would’ve gone around and climbed over the console in my car

I certainly wouldn't feel bad about it.
The thing is that most of them haven't the slightest idea they aren't parked correctly. Personally I'd fee free to write a little note along these lines:
