How much does a McDonalds Store Manager make? The national average salary for a McDonalds Store Manager is $56,698 in United States.

I know this is the O-T, but I'm sure there are many on here that don't make this much. Would you do it? Asking because I was surprised seeing this searching thru indeed. (above quote is from a 2018 Glassdoor article)

I 100% the earn every dime of that salary too. Couldn’t imagine having to deal with McDonalds employees.

Or the kind of people who ask to speak with a manager at McDonald’s.

I'm considering purchasing a Chick-fil-a and if I do I'm sure I'll work there in some capacity as it starts out.

Restaurant work is high paced, stressful, and physically draining. The hours also suck. No, I wouldn't do it.

But anyway, McDonald's workers in management and above do make good money. There's a reason you see them everywhere. It's because they're very profitable.

No. I couldn’t handle the employees or customers.

Is this in the contemplative phase? Cause you can't really "purchase" a Chicfila.

Hopefully not. But I have bills and a family. If I needed the money and that is the best I could do, you bet your arse I'd work at McDonalds. I'd work any job that gave me the best chance to provide for my family.

I did work as a manager of a fast food restaurant many years ago when I was 20. Did not, and would not, ever do that again. Worked so many hours that my minimum wage employees made more per hour. Restaurant work is the lowest paying, most thankless job a person could have, no disrespect to anyone in the field.

I am sure there are some terrible days, but what would be hard to handle? Tell high school kid what to do, if they don't, fire them and replace with someone else.

Who honestly asks for a manager at McDonald's anyways? I haven't walked inside a McDonald's for years thinking about it. If my shite is wrong, I go back and the same idiot fixes the problem.

I worked there in high school and most of the time the manager that I had did very little and seemed to never be there. Its one of those things that kind of run itself.

That's not how it works. You should look into it a little further and then apply for a job at a Chick-Fil-A.

Yes I know it's a franchise.

I've been looking into it for about 6 months.

My manager ran a McDonalds for about 10 years in his late 20s-early 30s. He has an infinite amount of stories....

If that was all I was qualified to do, sure.

No shame in earning an honest living.

It's a big investment but also a guaranteed moneymaker. I'm really just mulling over whether I want to deal with all the shite involved in getting one constructed, etc. Most likely I won't do it.

That statement tells me you don't know much of what they require. You'll be there longer than you think you will. Being the owner, you still work for them and subject to their oversight.
