You obviously have no idea what it takes to be a chic-fil-a franchisee.

I doubt it. I had a roommate that was a Wendy's manager. When he first started he wasn't the GM for the store, but he did most of the GM's duties, and he worked the 3pm-2am shift. The store closed at 11or 12pm, but it took a couple of hours to clean and set up for the next morning.
He said the GM blocked him from getting some GM positions for which he'd applied early on. He said that's how the smart ones operate. I think he got the third GM position he applied for. Then he hired a friend as his flunky assistant manager, trained him on doing all of the stuff he hated doing. Then he started sleeping with the guys wife.
She ended up married to him about a year later, after he moved to a little town in Alabama, and started a company putting up poles for satellite dishes for whichever company first offered the smaller ones. He made a killing for a few years when all of the country people still couldn't get cable. He eventually bought an established country store/gas station in the little town. I think they run it together. To each his own.

You can do well with the right company. I am essentially a step or two above this but do well and only work 50 hours a week. I'm not looking to leave but if a company attempts to recruit me without the use of a recruitment company or head Hunter I will give them the time of day. Anything under 100k isn't worth the conversation and that's before I discuss quality of life. I'm not doing 60-70 hour weeks as a regular schedule. I don't even want my assistants doing that.

Yeah they have operators, not franchisees. I think he called the wrong number
And they're actually called "franchise operators," not just "operators."

Good luck their process these days pretty much make you go through their school unless you’re military background. Also you can’t have any other businesses

At this point maybe if I get board in retirement.
If I was younger and between starving or my family doing without things, I would do it. I also like interacting with people and like to stay busy.
