I'd love to live somewhere like Idaho, but I have to be in a populated area with my line of work.

I moved to Coeur d'Alene ID and it has about 40k metro with Spokane about 45 minutes away with 200k. Best of both worlds IMO.

Better weather...? In the snow? You do realize it gets cold as frick in the North, right? Give me 90 degrees over snow any time. Not to mention how big a pain in the arse snow is. I'll never move from the South due to weather alone.

Except it's not 90 degrees. It's 99 degrees with a heat index of 107 and a humidity of 72.

frick this weather. Give me snow.

Coeur d'Alene is a really nice place. Stopped there on a drive from Seattle to glacier national park a few years ago

If I wasn't so close to my family, I'd move to the Pacific Northwest

Snow is nice.

One time.

Through a window.

Before you have to shovel that shite and drive through it.

I'll take a snowy 28 degree day with no wind over 95 degrees with high humidity every time. If you're cold, you're just not dressed appropriately. There's nothing to help when it's hot

I'm over the heat. I'm tired of it being so hot outside your children can't play without worrying about a heat stroke. I'm tired of getting out of my car in a suit and sweating by the time I reach the building.

I'll shovel snow. Better than this.

I don't shovel anymore. Plow guy is relatively inexpensive.

Driving in snow ain't difficult, it's the ice and freezing rain that sucks

Shoveling snow really blows. Have been apart of some big winter storms the last couple years that make me long for Louisiana summers.

We definitely disagree there

I can handle the cold just fine. I just don't subject myself to it if I can help it.

A few years of getting snowed in, driving icy roads, and stepping outside to have icy blasts of wind in your face will cure you of that nonsense.

If I have to layer my clothes and shite just to fricking STAY ALIVE when I go outside for 10 minutes, frick that shite. I'd rather sweat

I was born in Baton Rouge and grew up in Atlanta. I left the South 19 years ago after my college graduation. It's a lovely place to visit but I'll never move back. I'll always be a Southerner at heart, but I belong here in the Pacific Northwest. I can't explain it and I don't expect y'all to understand.
