That would have been an improvement.

The Probe was an awesome car. I had a 93 GT in college. Loved that car. But it was a Japanese style sport coupe. Not what you're looking for if you like Mustangs.

I want a vehicle that I can recharge in 5 minutes at the gas pump.

It's much easier to take 10 seconds to plug it in when you get home and you can start every day with a "full tank"

Why do so many car companies think that people want ugly electric vehicles.

It's curious why they didn't just stick with the normal mustang body

Tesla manages to make good looking electric cars so it can be done

So where does the electric come from?

I would consider it actually. The wife, no pics, drives the causeway a couple times a week. She hates to fill the tank with gas. This may make sense for her. In theory she could drive in our garage and plug it in. It also can be serviced much easier than a Tesla so it will have that advantage.

I fricking hate this thing. I like Tesla, mustangs, anything cool and/or fast. But I don’t like this move.

However, I think they might have hit something. Think about all those late 30s housewives who want to be socially woke and get an electric, want a throw back to memories of driving her mustang and her young days when they got to bang randos after slamming Fred’s bombs before her lame arse husband and kids ruined it, but also practical enough to get her 2 little shits to soccer practice.

You’re going to see some many of these cruising through your locally Ross Dress for Less parking.

But then people wouldn’t know how green, woke, hip, and edgy you are when you drive it. That is why electric cars have to look different. Most don’t buy them for the electric motor. They buy them to signal their “virtue” to others.

Can you explain how this possibly makes sense when the most popular electric car company in America makes cars that don't look "different" and are normal looking?

Yes, the Cybertruck is obviously different but they became by far the most popular selling EV in America with cars that look normal, so I'm trying to figure out how your post makes any sense whatsoever.
