I would change the filter and fluid with dealer or exact spec from whoever manufactures the dealer fluid.

I retired three yrs ago after 40 yrs as a mechanic. You can safely drain the fluid in that Corolla transmission and refill it. That mileage isn't a concern on that Corolla transmission. If you decide to do it you only want to drain the fluid in the pan. Re-fill will be approx 3-4 qts. You do NOT drain the entire transmission.
Edit to add you are not "changing " the fluid. You are replenishing it. You are draining about 25% of the fluid in the transmission and replacing what is drained with new fluid. Do not "flush" the transmission.

I recommend changing the fluid. I’m now replacing a transmission on a ‘17 pilot with 145,000 with no transmission fluid changes. I wouldn’t flush, just drain and refill every 30k.

Brings back nightmares of an old Corolla I had where a friend recommended a flush and did me a favor by doing it for free. Even bragged they removed some random metal chunks and it should run better after.
Ran like shite for weeks after and he said “it must have been bad fluid” and did another flush…more metal. Ended up totaling the car the next weekend, so my troubles stopped there

Simple drain and refill is fine. Don’t flush because that could cause things to break.

I dunno... all my jeeps have been manual and so is my f150. Now I want to change the gear lube in the tranny and rear end. On an automatic I would either call my mechanic or search on internet..
Now I need a spec sheet. Internet said synthetic 75w90.. I prefer Valvoline...

When I was a kid, in the 60’s, everyone called it an emergency brake - at least here in NOLA. I guess with it being so flat, no one used it for parking.

Don’t flush but go to the place that does a total fluid exchange via a machine. You can’t get all the fluid out by just unscrewing a drain plug.

I cut my teeth on transmissions in trucks & clutch jobs.
My first job was rebuilding transmissions and doing clutch jobs.
Clutch jobs will get to you when you are older.
I would not flush as particles can get caught in areas blocking fluid.
Each tech has different views.
I don’t keep up with cars.
Drain and fill ok.
Like another tech said your not draining all the fluid, you are replenishing fluid. Fluid still in areas that will not drain.
Example
I drain my import trucks transmission, which the transmission around 5.5 quarts.
First change 30,000 miles, I replaced 3.5 quarts Nissan's Matic-S.
A few weeks ago did 50,000 mile change before I sold the truck just to make sure it was up to snuff for the buyer. It took 3.6 quarts.
FYI, After all these years the ladies go for the truck drivers as they get the fame not us techs.

My high school music teacher put over 300k on his tacoma. It was still going strong but when it turned 20 he got a new truck and it became his second vehicle. Those things are so durable.

I’ve had a Tundra which has 220,000 miles. Never did that jiffy lube up sale bs. Never had a problem.

Here is where you’re wrong I didn’t tell him to ask the dealership to do the work did I dummy I said buy your stuff there. Here is what happens to idiots like you you go to your mechanic and he puts in trans mission fluid that exceeds the requirement of his previous fluid. Exceeds is not better in fluids exceeds fluids has new detergents and surfactants in it that will literally destroy the clutches in the transmission in no time at all. So go blow you real mechanic hell I am probably more of a Real mechanic than yours and obviously you Princess.
