There are two types of fights (maybe more)

1) people who don’t know how to fight and/or don’t really want to fight - maybe
2) people who know how to fight and/or really want to hurt each other - almost certainly not getting involved in that

I feel like it would completely depend on why the fight started and if it was clearly the case of one attacking the other.

I will not break up a domestic violence fight. I've had a buddy who stopped one happening in the bar. Wife got mad at him and the husband went to his truck and came back and shot him. Too often, the woman will turn on whoever is trying to help her out too.

You also have no context over what the fight even is it could be completely justified there could be a clear good guy or bad guy.

No. Guy I used to work with broke up a dude beating on his old lady outside a bar. She started beating on him for hitting her old man. He got in his truck and drove off. They followed him. He got out dude had a crowbar. He shot the guy with a 44 mag in the gut. Dude has a colostomy bag for the rest of his life. Coworker had to go through an indictment for agg assault. Grand jury declined to charge.

I knew a guy who was born to fight, He was just a bad arse when it came to fighting. But you would never know it . He was very laid back and wasn’t a dick.

He tried to break up a fight between a couple and they both turned on him. So he beat the shite out of both of them.

He was the one arrested and it cost him a lot of money.

Either as it is just starting, or after it has started?

Why or why not?
What two people?

What is the situation?

Where are we?

Too many variables.

Probably would only break it up in less than 5% of scenarios though.

I’m just seeing if they lost their wallets during the scrum.

Or get a good upskirt view of the fight has worthy contenders.

If it’s near my vehicle or my child I might end it for them.

Tried it once, never again

Drunk friend got into it with a guy much larger and much more sober... I tried to talk my friend down and save him from having the brakes beaten off of him... l caught a punch to the dome meant for him... bell rung

I gave a good shot back and rung ol boys bell in return, and I got the hell out of there... friend got destroyed because he wouldn't follow... friend ended up bloody in the back of some random truck bed licking his wounds

Never again

From experience don’t try this with two cats either. Did that once and ended up with four claws imbedded in each forearm.
