Would you be opposed to swiping your driver’s license prior to entering an establishment?

The benefit being that you no longer would have to get someone to get alcohol, razors, cold medicine for you.

Great way to present your papers for COVID vax status too I bet.
No thanks.
Not sure how swiping your license would eliminate all theft. Those measure are loss prevention, not necessarily age restrictions.

I'd need a license to buy essentials but not vote.

What kind of post-apocalyptic land do you live in where they have to lock up the Crystal Light?

Sounds racist to dems.

This is why we have food deserts, but we can't talk about that.

Add voting to it and I’d seriously consider it.

I was out of shower stuff and decided to try a new body wash so I went to the local Walgreens on Carrollton and Claiborne. It’s times like these that remind me I live halfway between “Lifestyles of the Rich and Famous” (Audubon Place) and “Straight Outta Compton” (Gert Town).

On the contrary, those are some nice nails on pampered hands. If that’s a dude, well, let’s just assume he doesn’t do much manual labor!

If it kept shoplifters out I would do it.

Hard pass. I’m in a business to exchange currency for goods and/or services. In most cases who I am is not important to those transactions.
And under the use case presented in the OP, criminals would need to steal an ID before going to the Walgreens to load up on free Sudafed.
If they want to eliminate shoplifting, put remote locks on the doors so they have to buzz people out.

Not if it included a voting booth.
