Haha I don't think so, but I'm sure that factors in a little

But they're very proud of having a degree, to the extent of being laughably arrogant. Wearing BAE shirts that say "Black, Amazing, Educated" and shite like that. It's nuts.

I'm sure there is a sociological explanation, like it's a tough shell developed to guard against prejudice and disrespect from black men, etc. etc. I will say that the bitchiness evaporates more one-on-one.

That’s encouraging to hear. I’ve been flying in for work lately just because I didn’t want to deal with rush hour. Which is a shame because I enjoy the 75S drive through Chattanooga and eventually into Atlanta.

I think the larges swath of concrete I've ever seen in my life was I35 in Dallas (coming from Aubrey). I'd love to have had the cement contract for that job- even if it was the low bid.

That has to be one of the most stressful drives IMO. Half the people want to do 90, the other half go 70-75, and they all want to spread out across the 4-5 lanes. So everyone is just weaving in and out of traffic, flooring it, then slamming on brakes

I can give you lots living and driving advice on Nashville. I’ve spent my entire life here. I love it. COL is increasing by the second though. It’s batshit.

No way in hell is ATL traffic worse than BR and NOLA based on per capita. Isn’t the atl metro like 3 times the size of br and at least 2 times the size of Nola?

Something tells me you've never tried getting around the Atlanta loop - the only time I've gone through there and never had a delay was at 4am on a Sunday.

Yea and going down Monteagle Mountain is terrifying at times. I’ve seen numerous tractor trailers that have had to hit those emergency strips on the side. One was on fire a while back.

It’s a pretty drive though.

Yea, traffic sucks here. I live in Buford and work from home so I don’t really care that much about it. WHen you do have to go out, just leave earlier. That is about it. You get used to it.

Gwinnett County (north part not the south part) has the best schools in the state. Pretty much from Kennesaw to the Gainesville (east Lanier side) is a good spot for the burbs.

I'm always amazed about how people can frick up going going down Monteagle- barely a 6% grade. Just throw it in 7th or 8th and let the jakes bring you down. Hardly any need to touch the pedal. I was there just a couple of weeks ago with 45k lbs of hazmat and just coasted down at 30-35 mph. Drivers like that would shite themselves with a real challenge like Cabbage Hill in Oregon which is basically an interstate with switchback turns cut into the side of a 5k ft cliff.

I can't tell you how many times I've had someone go flying past me, just to have to slam on their brakes due to a turn in the road, or a tractor trailer that they can't get around. These people are hazards to society. They also apparently don't give a shite about paying for brakes.

Bare minimum acceptable living distances from downtown by interstate.

I75- North , Kennesaw. South, Locust Grove.
575-Woodstock/Canton
I85- North , Suwannee. South, Peachtree City.
400- Alpharetta
I20- East , Madison. West, Carrollton.

Yes I know there are a slim few decent pockets closer to downtown but you are still surrounded by shite.

Do you not understand that land area in BR or Nola compared to ATL is not even close. They are spread out. It should take no more than 20 mins go get anywhere in BR or Nola based on land size of each city. Atl is way larger
