This as far as interstate goes. That stretch thru Bossier City is ridiculous on a federally funded roadway. Makes you wonder where the money has been going. Why hasn't it been resurfaced in over 30 years?
The contrast between I-20 in North La thru Louisiana Downs and I-20 in East Texas couldn't be more different. Both roadways are on similar soil, the Texas side gets maintained and is wonderful. The La side gets no maintenance and is one of the worst Interstate stretches in the country.

That may be the worst example you can make. Have you made that drive lately. I-10 in Orange is as bad as any road in Louisiana.

Pretty dramatic change in road quality when traveling eastbound on Interstate 20 from Texas into Louisiana. The suck of Louisiana’s infrastructure is on full display right there.

I20 west bound from Pines Rd(Shreveport) to the Texas state line is fricking awful.
