80's for sure.
70s had that oversized look that grows on you.

It can'be the 80's. Knight Rider, The A-Team Van, and Bigfoot were all from the 80s.

That was an amazing era for Porsche.

The slant nose, the whale tail.

My first ever vehicle was a '79 Mercury Cougar, like this one:

Was kinda partial to that thing.

Every decade has its good and bad design issues. Personally the 1970's, particularly mid to late years, were pretty bad in design and reliability. Mrs. M had a Plymouth Arrow that gave a whole new meaning to the term depreciation.Thank God I could do a lot of fixing of it and the others pictured on here. I swear, every morning a new bubble appeared on the paint job to reveal rust underneath. Regular as my morning glories.

These are some of mine. For various reasons they all have special memories of either courting Mrs. M or toting family around and trying to herd five kids and get groceries or pick up a Christmas tree. My favorite is probably the MGB or the Volvo wagons.
Enough of all that. I find myself strangely warmed of heart and that will not do anything for my TD alter ego's reputation.

Volvo Wagons are a classic. Volvo and BMW consistently have had great designs IMO

Ugliest car from AMC, and that says a lot, was the 70's Matador... Looked like an over sized Pinto...
