My town has a group of methheads known as the bicycle bandits. They’ve rigged weed eater engines to normal bicycles to semi motorize them (think redneck moped). They ride around in the middle of the night looking for shite to steal. I think there is a Facebook page about them.

Went there probably 30 years ago with my dad to go bow hunting in that Tensas reserve or whatever it is. Place was the poorest most depressing place I’d ever seen. Looked like something from a depression era movie.

Bruh….where are you living? Worst city in Louisiana, hardly. I’m all over South Shreveport & North Bossier all the damn time & you have to look very close to see a run down trailer park. You can drive to run down areas & ghetto in every city.
Garbage casinos?…you can make an argument about BoomTown but Horsehoe, Margaritaville, Bally’s Sams Town are fine.

We need to settle this debate once and for all.
My proposal is a bracket style face off of La shitholes. Each pairs gets its own thread and up/down votes are used. Leave them open for a certain amount of time, then to the next round with the winners until we have officially crowned the biggest shithole in La.

Are there two towns more different yet right next to each other than Leesville and DeRidder? Not saying both aren’t shite holes. One is or was dry as a bone and had more churches per capita than any other town in the US. The other has some of the sketchiest titty bars known to man, bars that are rated by the number of fights per night, high crime rates, and young drunk military guys all over the place.
