Ferriday is terrible....but there is one gas station that is funny. whites/blacks, people know each other. dudes packing guns and knives. Pretty cool and relaxed place

I've lived all over La and Shreveport has bad crime but let's not pretend like it's the worst. I'll take Shreveport or Bossier all day over some sketchy south La town like Bogalusa or New Iberia. Best interstate infrastructure in the state that is not named Nola.
