You haven't lived in South Louisiana, then. I'd take the hills and 4 seasons over this flat swamp any time. Also, they may be idiots out wandering around, but at least they drive like they have a place to get to, unlike here in south LA

I see you have never had to drive over an hour for gas/groceries. That is life in many places in Wyoming.

How do you make this assumption with zero information about where I do or have previously lived? I currently live in an extremely isolated location in the northeast mountains of Vermont where it is 45 mins to nearest groceries and 30 mins for gas. I have chickens, ducks, goats and pigs along with a full garden with a year round greenhouse and it is my heaven on earth away from a society that includes people like you sir.

Iowa really isn’t that bad. It’s actually one of the nicer states all things considered (just not so good when it comes to topography)

I’ll take this over Eastern Colorado/wyoming/montanta etc

I ride my bike and swim outside year round. There are a few really cold wet days that I skip riding but its only a handful. Sure its hot but I will take the lower humidity over Houston, NOLA, etc. Tornados are not as bad as hurricanes which can destroy an entire region.

Well, it does have more cattle per capital than people.

That's a God's honest fact

Awesome. Glad for you.

Of course I do. Never know when I meet a pervert who has to hide away from society and when I do, I like to let them know the trashy places I have come across in my travels.

Not to worry, I gave you that tidbit for free. It is on I80, north side. Feel free to visit it when you go through. And now that you know it is there, I know you will visit. Often most likely

this is a solid, below the radar answer

Flat, ugly, rust belt features, cold winters, overcast springs and summers. Just an awful place

Dayton, OH and most of the Miami valley. Not a fan of it. Very lackluster.

Do we now live in a world where people don’t shite on Cleveland?

West Texas no doubt about it. Extremes both ways plus when the wind is blowing its arse off it cuts like a fricking knife. I’ve actually come to get used to and love the “big winter” of Montana/Wyoming/Colorado, etc. Give me that winter over a day in August in south Louisiana where your nuts are constantly stuck to your leg and you sweat a couple gallons a day. I don’t miss that shite one bit.

Houston. I hate it.
Meanwhile a ton of you wrote west Texas - I love west Texas. Beautiful sunrises and sunsets. 4 seasons in the pan handle. 300 days of sunshine a year.
