re: Worst Airport You've Been Through?

When I go through or to Atlanta, there is usually very high chance of a delay. It's not like it doesn't happen at other airports but Atl seems to be the worst.
I'm not there to eat or shop. Getting to my destination on time is the most important thing to me

My most hated would be Houston's and Charles De Gaulle. Both airports blow and are run by retards.

Heathrow. London. Stuck in that airport for 15 hours flying back from Tanzania in the summer of 2008.
I will see you in Hell Heathrow

I judge them by bars and places to hang out during delays so the New Orleans airport is at the top of my lists.
Seriously? The only bars I know of at MSY are at the Zatarain's restaurant and that shitty 3 or 4 stool piss ant bar a little past it. MSY is a horrendous airport.

I don't get people saying DFW and ATL. Other than being too big, they are excellent.
I have a feeling it's a lot of folks who don't fly often. I believe they are called "OT Poors"

Dallas. Flights get hung up there based on condition at other area. Most large hubs tend to have that problem more than other airports (ATL)

Love KC's airport. Off the plane and curbside pickup literally within a minute.

Never been to KC, what were you doing there? Work?
Connecting flight. Headed back to Boston after coming into Louisiana for the holidays.

LAX is my home airport so I never have to change planes there. If I did, it would suck.
Mine too, though if it weren't so damn expensive, I'd fly out of Ontario every time.
LAX sucks balls even never having to layover there.

Worst airport as far as restaurants, shops, moving through, ect. has to be KC. That place is a dump

Atlanta and it's not even close
Fly more. I fly through Atlanta at least once a month, and aside from being huge, its not a bad airport. The security sucks, but rarely do I have to deal with it. It's got plenty of shops and bars and is easy as hell to navigate. Any moron can instantly understand where they are in the ATL airport and where they need to go. It's a very efficient airport.

This entire thread has me in the Twilight Zone. Lots of people who apparently want to spend lots of time in airports.

IAH is awful. HOU is not terribly bad.

I'm sorry, I should have specified. RELEVANT airports.

The worst airport I've been to is charlotte. Dirty, crowded, and not great vendors for an airport that size.
The thing I hate about Charlotte (right behind Houston and LAX for least favorite American airport) is that there is no transportation around the airport whatsoever and for whatever reason, my connection is alway on the opposite side of the airport, giving me a nice 30 minute walk to my next flight. If you have an hour layover and are handicapped in Charlotte, I really don't see how you stand a chance in making your flight if its in an opposing terminal.

Love Field. You aren't allowed to stop at the terminal to wait to pick people up. You basically have to loop around the airport until the perso who you are picking up gets to the curb.
That is actually not true at all but whatever

I'll second KC. It's the dumbest layout ever.
