KCI is the best if its your home airport and the worst if you're connecting through it. Be happy that you aren't switching airlines and have to catch a bus to go to a different terminal.

Basically, once you get to your gate, there is nothing to eat or drink unless you cross a clear dividing wall that has TSA agents posted at every door. And once you cross the wall, you will have to re-enter through security to get back to your gate.

so it wasn't accurate at all. the bars/restaurants are outside of the gate areas, before security checks

Why? It's awesome with nice restaurants and lots of shops.

I hate Indianapolis, nothing open over night and not a lot during the day either.

Other than the fact that it's huge, what's to hate?

It's one of the easiest big airports to navigate. Tons of places to eat and get drinks.

The absolute WORST is LAX. Old, no modern updates, resturaunts suck, and when you get out, traffic is a nightmare.

Atlanta and it's not even close

My reason is when I go through or to Atlanta, there is usually very high chance of a delay. It's not like it doesn't happen at other airports but Atl seems to be the worst.

Kansas city is a very Pre 9/11 airport. The worst airport I've been to is charlotte. Dirty, crowded, and not great vendors for an airport that size.

Eta: and I've flown into Port Au Prince.

Love Field. You aren't allowed to stop at the terminal to wait to pick people up. You basically have to loop around the airport until the perso who you are picking up gets to the curb.

how about you explain yourself? atlanta is probably the easiest airport to navigate, has shops, restaurants, and bars everywhere, and one of the best terminal transportation systems around

I guess Newark is my least favorite that I've been stuck waiting in.

I've recently been through KC. The plan was to get through security then sit down to eat and have a drink while waiting for the plane, only to find out that there are no restaurants on that side of security. Very unlike most airports I've been to. The terminals are laid out almost like parallel lines too. Very strange.

I don't know how anyone can say ATL. It's large yes, but easy to get around and has plenty of food/drink options to kill a layover. If I'm going to have a layover, ATL is high on my list of places to be stuck.

I judge them by bars and places to hang out during delays so the New Orleans airport is at the top of my lists.

Never been to KC, what were you doing there? Work?

Foreign as well eh?

Kyrgyzstan then. Disgusting. You had to walk down this long set of stairs underground into a basement for the bathrooms. No doors, and It smelled like they were indoor porta potties rather than actually plumbing toilets.

I'm not a fan of JFK. Especially driving in and out. It's insanely complicated.

LAX is my home airport so I never have to change planes there. If I did, it would suck.

I don't get people saying DFW and ATL. Other than being too big, they are excellent.
