The "Out of Africa" theory has been taking huge shots that poke holes in it the past several years.
This has no impact on that theory, with the earliest estimates of human ancestors leaving Africa being around 2 million years ago.
30k years is a blink in that timespan. It's huge compared to humans in a societal setting (12k years or so), but not the totality of humanoid migration.

Cuneiform is the oldest writing we've found. It's not in Africa.

I do agree with this, though.

Neither is Egypt culturally, but that doesnt stop them.

There isn't a "TLDR" portion at the bottom of it so I have my doubts.

If it's older, it hurts his argument even more, so that's fine with me.

Something happened to the brains of the humans in that region, and intelligence exploded.
Seasons.
Those that were smart enough to plan survived. Those that did not plan, died off.

Cool, but I don’t know that I call that writing. That looks more like counting if anything (assuming it’s not just decorative), and I don’t know that we could call tick marks writing.

Egypt also has nothing to do with Sumerian cuneiform
Posted on 2/24/26 at 4:39 pm to hawgfaninc
There has been hundreds of other ancient civilizations over the millions of millions of years. Stuff that we will never find.
