So let’s send our employees to offices with these…So productive that we need to waste up to 3-4 hours of our day to go to these adult day cares I mean the office!

I thrive from a work from home environment. I've been remote for years, even prior to Covid. Its fantastic.

Is this the thread where entitled millennials and out of touch boomers argue about who sucks more?

Newsflash, you all suck at your jobs whether it’s at home or in the office.

I can definitely see how certain personalities can do it and some can’t.

I wouldn’t get shite done at my house.

Wearing mesh shorts and t-shirt, sitting at my computer desk and knowing all my personal comfort things are right there.

I would be faking work the whole time

Collaboration creates value that is difficult to quantify, and there is no doubt that there is something about being in person that, if done right, you just don’t get anywhere else. You don’t know when the creative process will come into play, but you have to allow for it and a loose WFH environment prevents that in a lot of cases.

I don’t expect this to be a popular post, but I know it’s true. To the extent your business doesn’t lend itself to collaboration, your organization is likely not functioning properly. We’re still humans, not computers yet.

At least u r honest enough to admit it .

The problem is that at certain companies we have jerkoffs making policy who are lazy and undisciplined but think that ALL of us are as unmotivated as they are.. ive worked remotely for over 15 yrs and excelled.. to me, the ability to WFH is the difference between having a career that you like and being absolutely miserable everyday of ur life (if i had to sit in commute traffic and then deal with office politics/water cooler BS.)
