inb4 get ready to get raped on taxes.
I’m really good at what I do so I can’t juggle two jobs at once. If I half asssed my current job I’d lose 6 figures in income. I may be able to do something on the weekends and not effect my income but my weekends are worth more than that.

If you’re considering doing this in the same industry, you’re really, REALLY playing with fire.

Get 3 remote jobs and outsource 2 of them to India.

It’s one thing to have a side hustle and another to charge two employees for the same hour worked. You really have to come to the OT to find out if it’s ok to lie, cheat, or steal?

Not trying to steal anything. I’m trying to make extra money. And if I can satisfactorily perform two jobs at ones from home, why is is that a big deal?

This remote shite is old hat in my world. I knew a guy that accepted 3 jobs simultaneously and started them all the same week, did it for a month and picked the best one, then just faded on the others.
He wasn’t watched over, so he got paid by one for like 3 months before they realized he wasn’t working and fired him.

You had to ask if there were any legal problems with it so obviously you know it’s wrong.

Legal? Not as long as you’re not signing anything otherwise.

My buddy does. Hes a draftsman and and he also sells stuff to organize walk in closets, storage building and garages. The sells job is part time but he makes more money doing that. The drafting job pays his insurance and benefits that his sells job doesnt.

My company has caught employees doing this. They gone.

Seems like burnout would be detrimental to both. I know someone who works 8-5 job in office/home and then Ubers on the side /nights/weekends. Has no family or life to worry with though.
