I hate it when people hide behind this BS because their plan sucked, they know it, and don't want to admit it.

Phrase I've grown to hate:
"I need to touch bases with you, are you free this afternoon?"
When I hear that I cringe because I know my day is about to be derailed my some pointless meeting that I don't need/want to be involved in.
What this should translate to is, "hey I need to kill your productivity and extract information from you in the most inefficient way possible. Please let me know when you're available. Thanks."

Also... Full Time Equivalents or FTE's. Hate that for some reason. Not sure why. But I hate it.
Finally.... "WE" have a problem. No, WE don't. YOU do and you want me to find out what is causing it and fix it. But WE don't have a problem. Now, your problem has indeed become my problem, but I didn't formerly have a problem.
