I have no issues with wielding a hyper liberal in each hand, using them as a club to beat hyper conservatives to death.

But in such a scenario... Realize where you will fall.

Sorry I forgot this one

99.9% of the population agree there should be controls on privately owned arms (unless you think Joe Schmoe should be allowed an Anti-aircraft gun on his ranch). The real debate is over where the line is. While it's true that some on the far left would ban all guns if they could, that's not the majority position and i seriously doubt it would stand up to constitutional scrutiny even if somehow a blanket gun ban was passed (which also has zero chance of happening).

This is yet another right wing media tool to keep you scared.

On here, if you even have one liberal view, you're basically AOC.

Every progressive says this, or a variation of it, on here.

Every one also voted for Gary Johnson and hates HRC.

That doesn’t specifically apply to you, but it is such a funny post that is reiterated on here frequently.

Oh bullshite. I'd never heard of those concepts until the present generation of emotional weaklings came along.

I hold only two conservative view points. Personal responsibility is paramount, and I will always vote to protect the second amendment.

Support for those two things will allow everything to work itself out

And while these lightly armed Poles fought the Nazis with all they had for three months, Stalin parked his tanks and waited to come in and take the leftovers.

More recently than a boomer said "words are violence."

this is where you're wrong. the right makes up child sex ring stories about politicians they don't like. That you just gloss over this is astounding.

I'm not very familiar with that, but if you want to compare this child sex ring story to what the press, Democratic Party, and Democrats in Congress have been doing to a Constitutionally elected president then go right ahead. Pizzagate (or whatever) pales in comparison to this Russia/Robert Mueller/Impeachment/Racist/White Nationalist/White Supremacist/Locking Kids in Cages/Concentration Camps/Exterminating Hispanics/Heil Hitler/Brett Kavanaugh nonsense.

To be fair, the boomers and gen Xers have never had many of their own subscribing to the "words are violence" bull shite.

I grew up hearing "sticks and stones my break my bones, but words will never hurt me." There's much truth in this unless it's legitimate verbal abuse.

You guys invented these concepts and you can't even keep what they actually mean straight. Derision and contempt are not the same things as a "trigger". You don't get to just have a floating definition of these terms to suit whatever argument you're trying to make. Another intellectual failure by this weakass generation.

Seems like if a concept was just invented from thin air, that's exactly what can be done.

Try not to be so upset.

Portland, Oregon.

I assume you're talking about the fake controversy right wing media has created about tech companies allegedly targeting conservatives.

You would assume wrong. I'm talking about places like Berkeley, California, and I couldn't care less about Twitter.

Do you think that just because a statue goes up it has a divine right to stand forever? The one area I would agree though is (in the case of the NOLA monuments) it should have been put to a vote by the citizens of Orleans Parish and not been a blanket decision made by the city council.

Philadelphia was pretty silly in removing a statue of Kate Smith because she sang a song in the 1930's that's deemed offensive today by some easily offended snowflake. I'm also talking about places like Charlottesville, Virginia, who are disassociating the city from Thomas Jefferson, it's most important and influential citizen. I'm also talking about places throughout the country who are painting over murals that depict any of the nation's founders.

#2 Even if your statement WAS true, the Supreme Court has widely recognized freedom of association as an essential part of the first amendment.

...unless you're a bakery who chooses not to bake a cake for a gay wedding. Then the power of the state will set about to destroy you.
