How in the hell do they do this?
My sister, mom and wife will just lay on the couch and chat with their friends about nothing the entire night.

I want to know whyy wife can be so pissed off at me that she can barely speak without cursing, then can answer the phone like "hey girl" with a big smile. I don't get it

My dad worked shift work, and I remember my mom being on the phone with friends for HOURS. I figured that's just what adults do, but I absolutely never speak to any of my friends on the phone..
Occasionally, though, my mom will call me and it will end up an hour or two long. So maybe its just her.

We are barely the same species as women.
Provided she doesn't bond with miserable people this is great for her and your relationship. Almost no men are able to maintain adequate interest in enough idle conversation to please their wives.
