I think a lot is just jawing, exaggeration, and boasting for fun, but I think there are some kernels of true opinion hiding out here under the cover of anonymity and humor.

That list reminds me of when I met my wife and she was wanting a relationship like her friend and husband had — he went everywhere with her, paid for her and her friends at lunch, always took trips together, brought her lunch at work everyday, etc.... Real hard negative to 65.
A lot of the rest are mostly good manners and things that come more or less naturally if you really like the girl and she likes you.
But all my dating for a good many years have been as married couple. A lot of that was sort of how dating was before we got married.
It seemed to work okay.
