These airline stewards and flight attendants have the worst jobs on the planet
I couldn’t be an airline gate agent or flight attendant because it sounds like hell, but I cannot fathom that there are people who wake up each day and willingly go to work as a human punching bag for airlines like Spirit, Frontier, Southwest, etc. Their clientele sucks and you get beat up all day for what can’t be much pay.

However, the regulatory agency backpedaled a month later, claiming that while weighing passengers was an option, most airlines would resort to other measures of calculating passenger mass.
Contingency methods included making “a reasonable estimate about the passenger’s actual weight and add 10 pounds,” per the document.

More like 130 kilos. Her turds weigh more than 130 lbs.

Bet Aaliyah wished her plane crew had properly weighed shite.
If I remember right they did. She raised hell until they said screw it and attempted to take off

The entire conversation should have stopped here. You know what happens when you don't weight and balance properly, or ensure cargo isn't going to get up to take a piss mid flight?
Crashes.

Weigh the fatties. I’ll be god damned if I’m dying in a plane crash to protect some fatass’s feelings.
As a guy who looks 250lbs, but weighs about 45lbs more than that.... I support this.
After 35 years of hard labor and then getting super fricking fat, and then losing 70lbs to still be fat, I'm much more dense than I appear. Bone density is a lot higher than normal and intramuscular fat in the lower body is also lower than you would expect.
Even at my fattest, I sank like a stone in water
Estimating is a terrible idea

Either extremely dramatic or highly sheltered life.

utter stupidity of this country. Putting feelings before physics. It can be a safety issue.
Ask the Orlando kid who fell out of that sky drop thing. Oh you can’t. He damned near reached terminal velocity from 300 feet or so. Sounded like wet cement. Why?????
Probably to avoid bad Yelp reviews over firming away people over a weight limit. They modified the security bar for a guy who exceeded weight/size for the ride.
Ask Aaliyah if she’d like to go back and leave a couple bags or about 4 people to take another island hopper. Can’t. She’s dead too.

I took a helicopter tour once and they made everyone get on a scale at the Heliport, no exceptions. They have to evenly distribute weight in smaller craft. It was amusing to watch the difference in reactions between the men and women. Every woman was pissed off and every dude was like, whatever. I got to sit in the front next to the pilot so my weight must have been the lucky number.

This reminds me of overweight people complaining that they can’t ride the roller coaster at six flags
Posted on 5/19/23 at 6:44 pm to stout
They should figure out the safely allowable weight limit per passenger, including luggage and the person’s weight. Total weight can’t exceed.

Complained about being weighed and I guarantee you that she would be the first one to complain that there were no snacks on the flight.

I tried to go parasailing at a resort off the west coast of Malaysia. They came to me after discussion and informed that there was not enough wind for me to go up. I smiled. The next person was a petit Japanese young lady who took off sailed around the bay and at time to land deposited her in the top of a 40 foot palm tree.
Sometimes being a full sized has the advantage

130… maybe she meant kilograms
Posted on 5/19/23 at 7:15 pm to stout
Accept you are fat or change it but nobody that has a working set of eyes would say you were passing for 130lbs
Posted on 5/19/23 at 7:20 pm to stout
Is she 3 feet tall cause that's the only way she weighs 130. She should be embarrassed for lying by at least 100lbs.

Because a plane has a set amount of fuel
