Soliz would not say what information or evidence led detectives to arrest the man and suggested that more information would be available on Friday.

The guy is too clean cut to be homeless. I'm thinking he either knows her or was a stalker who knew what time she regularly went for hikes in the area.

Definitely doesn’t look homeless. Very clean cut. And the fact that it appears that he was living at Frank Lloyd Wright/Bell and Scottsdale Rd would corroborate that he wasn’t homeless. Curious to see more information come out on this one.

Has the same clothes on as the photo they released. But you're right, looks too clean cut to be homeless. Also, appears physically fit, which I also wouldn't expect someone homeless to be.

Maybe an opportunist? Maybe robbery turned violent or rape?
I haven't seen the cops release much about the crime other than to say it was heinous and similar things. I know that doesn't mean rape, but it's the reason I brought it up.
I guess murder is heinous though, so definitely doesn't lend itself to more.

I’ve said it before. It’s so weird people mention how pretty or beautiful someone is when they’re murdered. As if the girl wasn’t the cutest, it’s somehow more understandable she was murdered.
