It was in the desert so they could request subscriber data for all phones in the area that day between 10am-11am and it wouldn't be more than probably 20-50. Then find the only one belonging to a black male and bam case closed. They used this technology on January 6 but probably won't in this case which shows how much they care.

Very sad story. You must live near the Mayo Clinic Hospital/Lifetime Fitness. Heard she trained at Lifetime, where I workout, but don't recognize her. She was an aesthetician for a plastic surgeon buddy and heard she was a beer cart girl at Troon CC, where I live. People are spooked as this happened in a very low-crime area of Scottsdale/N. Phoenix, directly behind Mayo.

I do, I workout at the EOS Fitness right there and I also heard she works out at Troon. This is horrible.

What is crazy about this it that this was right on the border of Scottsdale next to where the Waste Management Open, Barrett Jackson and the Mayo Clinic are located and there are no black people in this area. If they don't catch this guy within 24 hours they are not trying.

I haven't been out there in a while, but friends who run and ride bikes at reach 11 said more and more homeless people are setting up under the underpass (56th street?).

was really surprised to hear this happened at reach 11. maybe at the papago where tweakers literally live under the rocks out there.

Don't kid yourself on Maine, it's only low on violent crime because the population is rural.

They are extremely soft on violent crime. Look at the 10 time violent offender that shot up the interstate after quadruple murder Just a couple of weeks ago.

It would happen a lot more often if they had a bigger population even despite their demographics. It is a massive welfare state and the rates of drug addiction and mental illness are way too high as well. And their politicians are dead set on forcing a demographic shift. They are damn lucky that the people from Angola, Congo, etc. That they import, hate the cold.

New Hampshire is way better despite having 'more crime' on paper. Ditto for usual suspects Idaho, Montana, etc.

Why do women do this? go running/hiking by themselves in remote places or odd times in the late night/early morning. These are violent times. These women think they can handle themselves but they are no match for a man with bad motives. What a terrible way to die. For the parents and loved ones to have think about their loved one's last moments.

Things changed quickly and I think a lot of people still live in a fantasy land.

I would never go hiking without packing heat today. In fact, I dare say if you do, you're moron.

Most people don't realize Reach 11 goes all the way to Scottsdale Road where the Princess hotel is and it happened right near there.

I can understand that sentiment, but do you carry when you go for a family walk or bike ride in the neighborhood? or when you go to a kid's ball game? because where this happened isn't like a remote area. it isn't like hiking in the backcountry, which I wouldn't blame someone carrying.

this was on trails on a desert preserve in north phoenix/north scottsdale that are surrounding by houses, condos, soccer fields, the mayo clinic, the musical instrument museum, equestrian park, and desert ridge mall.

This was between 10-11am on a Friday morning in a very nice area on a well traveled trail in the middle of the city.

A couple of things here.

1. Although this shouldn't be the case, women shouldn't be alone in remote places. 30 years ago this was just common sense, but I guess with the empowerment of women, common sense has gone out the window.

2. Carry some type of firearm and watch your six.

Guard was probably down because of this even though this location still looks to be remote.
