The patient this happened to nearly drowned as a young child and likely has been at this facility ever since. Would not be surprised if the patient is a ward of the state. This place is the type of place where patients like this go if there is no place else for them to go(care at home, etc).

Everyone at that facility will be DNA tested.

Saw this on FB and one of the comments was a woman saying fake story because you can’t carry a baby for 14 years.

Spent a month in one. Gave my family strict instructions to pull the plug or smother me with a pillow after two weeks if it ever happens again. frick 14 years.

I'll never understand people who do this shite to loved ones. It's fricked up and there should be laws against it. If your loved one doesn't come out of a vegetative state within 6-12 months, their food lines get removed and the family should have no legal standing to stop the action.
Before someone posts some story about someone on life support for 6 years before miraculously coming out of their coma, let me say I don't give a shite. That's the exception, not the rule. That may happen to .1% of comatose patients.
