I mean if you’re on foot, you and/or your partner are giving commands to get out the car and he/she isn’t listening what thought process says “hmm let me walk in front of this vehicle where this person isn’t listening and stand there with my gun out.” It’s just an idiotic thought process.
Am I saying never walk in front of a vehicle? No, because there are times where you need to get from points to point B and going directly in front or behind is the quickest route. That said, you move quickly and get out of the way.
Am I excusing the driver for not complying? No, hell no.
What I am saying is that the standards for police has dropped so far that we as a society accept cops doing dumb shite like standing in the direct path of a vehicle, jumping on the hood, jumping in the vehicle, etc. then shooting the driver and we immediately place all blame on the driver rather than looking at both of them.
Incidents like this just show us what these lowered standard/training expectations give us as a populace. These same lowered standards give us 4’11 95lb females and 5’8 300lbs male cops who start getting overpowered/winded and end up shooting someone all because we (society) accepted that these people can be police.

Just like many of these situations, looks like two dumbasses collided.
An idiot who couldn't follow simple commands and a trigger happy cop. I'll side with the cop 9 out of 10 times.
This didn't require a headshot imo but I'm not there and not about to be hit by a car so I'll give the ICE agent most of the benefit of the doubt, but that definitely didn't look necessary to me.
But like always, just listen and none of this happens.

Im not saying the shooting was or was not justified. Based on what I saw so far I would say it was probably justified. The president needs to get his facts straight and not do his usual embellishment in this situation.

Was this woman an illegal immigrant, or was she someone who was trying to disrupt ICE operations? I’m trying to catch up and there’s a bunch of conflicting info on X.
Interested to see any footage of the interaction before shots were fired. I’ve seen plenty of videos on social media of protestors getting right up in the grills of ICE agents as they’re trying to detain suspected illegals.

In this type of situation.......it absolutely matters that the president is communicating the facts of the situation correctly. The shooting may have been justified. Let the facts and the investigation takes it course. No need muddy the waters.

You can tell he didn’t draw until vehicle started going forward towards him, and the first shot was while he was being hit by front corner of vehicle. You can see his feet slide back around same time.
Maybe the 3rd shot was too late, but you can’t judge that on its own like it was the first and only shot fired or in a slow motion time frame.
