I stopped working with my parish's SVDP society because I got burned out rent cases from people who clearly had no interest in helping themselves, but the other members of the group wouldn't turn away.
I felt we were no longer being good stewards of the money donated by the parishoners.
These people are leeches and they absorb resources from people who truly need the help.

These people truly have no shame so it's time to put shame back into the equation. Whatever judge she ends up in front of needs to send it to her to stand at the doors of the store she stole from and check receipts and remind people that stealing is wrong. Yeah I know that ain't never going to happen but we can make everybody convicted of stealing lose their " benefits" for life.

It was in the news, here in Tampa, couple of years ago where a husband and wife both worked for the school district and we're getting food stamps, Section 8, and other benefits. How hard do you think it is to lie on application forms? It's like the old saying, locks only keep honest people honest. As others have mentioned it's a cultural issue and not limited to just blacks. We have a whole country full of parasites that need purging.
