My mom has experienced this with her dad. Brought her a lot of comfort. Some people will say it’s just a dream but why not wonder if they really came to visit you to say goodbye? So much we don’t understand about the afterlife.

I told my wife about this dream and she told me that she has dreams about her mom from time to time. Oddly enough we also have a friend that’s swears she’s a sensitive. Told my wife that her mom speaks to her sometimes.

I’m so happy that experience helped bring you peace.

Work wife? I don't know, man. No sex sounds an awful lot like a legit wife.

Is it around an anniversary date ? birthday ?? It's nice to get a visit. Some people aren't mature enough to understand or smart enough to handle these situations. Life gets better with expierence

It was a State job. Payed well but absolutely sucked. Of all the people working in out small department we bonded over football of all things. She was a Saints fan and I am Eagles fan. When the Saints knocked us out of the playoffs, she decorated my office with Saints photos and bird feathers. She made working there so much fun. When she passed, I took it as a sign to finally quit.

That’s the thing baw, I would listen. Not sure what happened in your life to make you so bitter but there’s not a place on this planet that I’ve lived or visited where I didn’t leave with a new friend.
If you live in BR, we can grab a beer sometime and talk about whatever. Seems like you need that.

I hope the dream helped bring some closure.

But the words "work wife" or "work husband" would have me and my wife throwing hands

Its funny i had a dream a few days ago about a dog i grew up with in my youth. He's been dead now close to 30 years. He just randomly appeared in a dream. He was running around in the field we used to frequent. He tired himself out and just randomly came up to me after and laid down next to me and i got to hug him and pet him. Had it not been for my nightly piss around 3am it could have been longer Sometime dreams can really be great but most are usually just weird.

In my paramedic days when kids were younger I use to dream responding to them dying in a wreck or whatever different ways, dreamed of it about wife also. I’d wake up crying hysterically at times and wife would have to calm me down telling me it was a dream.

Eta: I mow yards now and only work related dreams are of equipment not working and I wake up with no fricks given and fall back asleep

Wonder if you’ll start a thread this heartfelt if your real wife dies?

I feel you man. On a lucky rare night, I'll still dream of my brother. There's no words but he smiles. I hug him and hold him and tell him how much I love him and miss him and it's beautiful and peaceful and gone all too quickly.

It's bittersweet.

There are other realms than these
