What dumbass went to the beach on a holiday weekend and expected it not to be crowded? I went to orange beach 3 weeks ago the beaches were not crowded at all.

You in Aruba? That was my beer of choice on our trip there this past February. I hated having to get up at 7 AM to go down to get the hotel staff to tag the chairs.
My experience was from Aruba, both times we went.
In Aruba, those Palapas are serious business, u gonna get worked over, if you try and take one that has been saved.
We would go down around 12pm, after hitting pool for a little bit, and ask if anything open, if there was, so be it, if not, go over to sand area and put a towel down. No biggie for me. Wife liked the palapas, but it wasn't worth getting down there 3 hours earlier for her.
U enjoy Aruba? I try to tell People, if your not there to relax and enjoy the beach and sun, ur on the wrong island. Aruba is not party central, it's very laid back.
I'm a laid back person, looking to relax, so it's perfect for us.
Also, love the Rens private island, the boat ride over, and having planes fly 20 feet above u, when landing is cool.
