You should be embarrassed for going to a Margaritaville. Complaining about the quality is just laughable at this point.

forgot you were a fellow Nashvillian.

I had a friend get kicked out of that one actually for jawing some drunken idiot who called his wife a "fricking bitch" when she politely told him she was married when he blatantly started hitting on her at our dinner table. Her husband was sitting directly next to her and we were clearly eating dinner as couples.

I hate that place.

I hope a margarita from a tourist trap isn't some bucket list item.

There's no reason to go to a Margaritaville, but then again, Louisiana residents are all about the tourist traps of the gulf coast. It's always a good laugh when they travel to Gulf fricking Shores for their big family vacation

Get the chicken fried steak fingers and the armadillo eggs. There is almost always some good Texas music going on there.

I've been on a lot of vacations in various parts of the world. Going to Turks and Caicos for a beach vacay March 3rd actually.

Gulf Shores beaches are still some of the nicest you can find in the US. Especially if you are within driving distance. It's a great, cheap beach trip.

So oweo in your graaaand exalted opinion the mere fact a restaurant has more than one location means it's trashy?

Good to know.

Not really.. And I am not saying it's trashy, if people enjoy going there then I don't care or judge them, but chain restaurants have a different business model than your local restaurants. Although margaritaville isn't a fast food joint, I will use McDonalds as an example. Do people really go to McDonalds because they have great burger that they are dying to eat? No. They go there because they are familiar with it. It's a band name where they can get a quick meal that isn't horrible.

Look at Chillis, Red Lobster (although I have never been there before), etc. You can get better food at other places, but they are places people are familiar with.

I am not saying I don't eat at chain restaurants or anything, I am just saying that it is no surprise that margaritas at margaritaville isn't good.
