I was wondering if we are done with the snow in Covington.

It will get deeper (that’s also what she said) if this continues like this.

Dude, if I get stuck in EBR I'm gonna be pissed. Seems like they would warn before closing the bridges, to let people get home. I sure hope so.

Can someone much smarter than me explain where this front originated from. 30 hours ago it was insane driving between Fort Stockton and Van Horn Texas. It seemed as if the snow was coming out of the southwest which was super confusing to me.

Is there a link to where the thickest snow accumulations are? Curious who is getting the most.

Peej, I assume if it's snowing, it's OK. When I drove this morning, it was slushy coming over the bridge, but not slippery or unsafe. Just drove slow. The issue becomes if this starts turning to ice. Earlier, the ground temp wasn't that cold.

Someone correct me if I'm wrong. Any info on overpass closings would be greatly appreciated. Am I stupid for thinking we'll get a heads up before bridge closings?

The temp should hold steady just above freezing until it gets dark. I'd want to be across any big bridges by 4 pm at the latest.

Still snowing south of I-10 in Dutchtown.

This has been "magical" for the kids!

Has WBRZ commented on the "no accumulation" they were predicting from yesterday over and over again? Pat is hopefully passing out coats to kids.
