I’ve got over 4 inches here in SW LA 10 miles north of I 10 and 6 miles from TX line. Bulldog didn’t know what to think. He left a dick trail in the snow it’s still snowing too. Got some good pics but imgur sucks mainly because I can’t figure it out.

It’s snowing hard as shite over by LSU. Actually had thunder and lightning earlier. Was very strange. Whole sky turned purple. Definitely a winter storm

Still coming down good in prairieville, around 73 and I10.
The look on my 4 year old daughters face when I woke her up at 5:30 and told her it was snowing was priceless. She lasted about 10 minutes outside before she was too cold. Now we are back inside dressed like Elsa the ice queen

I have to say, to the OP bringing this thread here over a week ago. Way back then I told the family of chances of snow. It's a win win.

Nothing but rain in west Houma, which has now stopped.

Question: I downloaded the mping app to report weather conditions. Does anyone know how long a report stays on the map? I know you can report every 30 seconds, but when does it go away?

I was driving home from Beaumont about 4:30 this morning and had to get on the feeder road. It was snowing so hard addedin with the 18 wheelers I couldn’t see shite. Never been in anything like that before. Little bridges over the Sabine River swamp were holding snow and slick as shite.

LSU has some stupid sense of pride/superiority about stuff like this. “Look at us, we’re open when everything else is closed”. It’s weird.

Entergy failing so hard. Power out here. Kind of need to study. It's really starting to accumulate on sidewalks and in the street now. Overperforming my expectations with a couple of hours of snow to still fall.
