UHS just sent out an email saying they're closing at 1:30 and to stay tuned to announcements for LSU.

EOC has determined that the University Laboratory School will dismiss at 1:30 p.m. today. This closing time only impacts University Laboratory School. There will be no UMC or Cub Care aftercare services today. All students must be picked up at 1:30 p.m.

I was just told that our state office in St. Tammany is closing at noon, and will be closed tomorrow also.

So stupid, a really bad decision. Funny thing is a friend texted me asking if I had heard if LSU is closing. I said well the worst possible time for them to close is 3, so they'll probably close then.

Yes. The only smart move they've made so far is staggering closures between LSU and Lab but it should have been 11:00 and noon, at the latest.
